The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory from 2 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, for areas in north east Georgia, including Walton County.
Temperatures are expected to range from the lower to mid 30s.
The NWS is advising that sensitive vegetation may need to be protected.
In addition, a Hazardous Weather Statement has been issued for the area for the next seven days. The NWS is warning that conditions could include more frost warnings, a potential fire hazard and a possible freeze warning.
