Candlelight service for those who have lost loved ones

Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe is having a special candlelight service on Saturday. The service is especially for those whose loved ones have passed on, but the public also is invited to attend.

“There will be a candle lit and put on every grave of the deceased loved ones,” said Hill Haven Memory Gardens owner Tim Cornett. “There will be singing by several groups and a short Christmas service given – especially for those who have passed on.”

Cornett said refreshments will be served. Hill Haven Memory Gardens is located on Highway 78 East in Monroe, at 490 Edmondson Road. The service will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013.
