On Stage in Monroe to present ‘All Shook Up’ featuring the music made famous by Elvis Presley

Screen Shot 2016-01-31 at 5.12.36 PMOn Stage presents All Shook Up , a new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It’s NOT a biographical revue. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl’s dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs featured in the score are classics like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Love Me Tender,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and of course the title tune.

Show dates are February 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 2016 at 8:00 PM with matinees on Feb. 21 and 27 at 2:00 PM at the On Stage Playhouse, 215 High School Avenue in Monroe.

Tickets are $20.00 for adults, $8.00 for students. A $15 per person group rate applies when ten or more tickets are purchased for a performance at one time. Tickets are now on sale at Carmichael’s and online at www.onstagewalton.org.
