Social Circle kicks off Independence Celebration with Parade and fireworks

Social Circle gets an early start to 2016 Independence Day Celebrations on Saturday, July 2, with a parade and fireworks. The fun begins at 3:30 p.m. with live music downtown. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. at Ace Hardware, goes through town, turns onto AP Henderson Road and ends at Stephens Field.

A gospel concert picks up at Stephens Field at 6:30 p.m. and runs until about 9 p.m. Food vendors will be available during the concert. Fireworks will follow at dark – sometime between 9 – 9:30 p.m. There will be a live broadcast on WMSL 88.9 FM.
